What is the NewPicass Mobile app?

The mobile app is the native iOS and Android interface for the distribution network — agents, brokers, coverholders, sub-agents — designed for on-the-go operations: portfolio consultation, quick issuance, touchscreen electronic signing, real-time push for events (claim notified, policy pending signature, upcoming expiry). Natively multi-insurer: the same user accesses portfolios of all delegating insurers they coverhold for, switching from the menu. Biometric 2FA access (Face ID / Touch ID), offline consultation mode, camera integration for document scanning and selfie-liveness customer identification, NFC for CIE reading. Replaces the \"notepad + phone-call-to-office + re-typing-on-PC\" flow with a complete paperless workflow in 60-90 seconds.

Why a native app and not just a responsive web?

The native app offers 4 advantages not replicable by web: (1) real-time push notification even with the app closed, key for urgent claims; (2) integrated biometric access (Face ID, Touch ID) without typing credentials; (3) offline mode for consultation without connection; (4) camera access for document scanning, geolocation for on-site appraisals, NFC for CIE.

Can the same app be used for multiple delegating insurers?

Yes. Unique advantage for coverholders and MGAs operating with multiple insurers. The app is user-level multi-tenant: the same broker, with the same credentials, can switch between portfolios of different insurers directly in the app. Optional per-insurer branding (logo, colors).

Is mobile electronic signing legally valid?

Yes. The app supports FES, FEA and FEQ with the same guarantees as the web. FEA: document identification + selfie liveness + graphometric signature directly on the touchscreen. FEQ: integration with remote qualified certificate via CSC API. eIDAS art. 25 validity guaranteed for the levels that provide it.

What happens if I'm offline?

Offline mode active on iOS and Android: consultation of recent policy data (last 90 days, configurable), customer master data, emergency contacts. When connection returns: automatic sync of any locally-drafted records. Operations requiring real-time validation (CIG on ANAC, AML screening) are blocked offline.

How is access to the app protected?

Login with email + password on first access, then mandatory 2FA: TOTP via authenticator app or SMS. Subsequent accesses: biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID / Android fingerprint). 12-hour session then automatic logout. Remote wipe possible on device loss. DORA art. 8 (secure access) compliance.

Is the app available on App Store and Google Play?

Yes. Publicly distributed as "NewPicass Mobile" on App Store and Google Play. For customers wanting dedicated branding (logo + insurer name) white-label publication is available under the customer's developer account, supported by NewPicass as a service.
